The Rangers are 8-7

On a night that Yu Darvish didn't have his best stuff, and was at times squeezed by home plate umpire Ted Barrett, he still went 7.0 strong innings and only allowed two runs, his first two of the season.

Felix Hernandez was only charged with one earned on the night, as a Leonys Martin triple was enough to get him yanked in the bottom of the 7th before a Michael Choice sacrifice fly plated Martin for the first Rangers run of the game.

Oddly enough, on a night when both Darvish and Hernandez started against one another, it was Leonys Martin that was the MVP of the game. Despite a misplay by Martin and Choo in the outfield -- and an error on Seattle with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th -- Martin made a fantastic play at the center field wall, had a triple, and ended up with the walk-off single with a single flick of the bat. Enjoy Eric Nadel's call of the walk-off above, right below the GIF.
