And just like that, the shiny glow of that early-season start is over. The Rangers sit at .500 and on the season are exactly mediocre. Of course, if you've been following along, you likely know that they're not even playing well enough to be considered mediocre at this point.

There are a lot of things wrong, and even if the pitching was better than it's been -- and it's been abyssmal -- it doesn't matter if the offense can't muster more than a run or two.
