The Rangers are 34-35
/A sweep in Seattle would have been awesome, but two of three is a good start on this nine-game West Coast road trip.
The next stop is Oakland.
To follow up on Eric's post, 2 of 3 on the road against a divisional foe is nothing to thumb your nose at. Nick Martinez pitched well enough to give the Rangers a chance to win, but that was quickly erased when, once again, Robbie Ross came into the game. Robbie now holds a 5.34 ERA on the season, and for the third straight season, we're in the middle of the summer, and Robbie can't get left-handed hitters out.
It's a frustrating and confusing situation, and at this point, I can't see any reason for Robbie to still be on the Major League club until he's gotten some work down in AAA.
