Thursday Morning Open Thread: Four Questions
/There's not really a whole lot of news out there this morning, so I figured it'd be a good time to go the route of leaving an open thread with four questions.
- Cuban infielder Yoan Moncada has been a hot topic recently in baseball. If you were a Major League GM with no spending limits during the current spending period, what sort of signing bonus and contract would you offer Moncada?
- With the roster mostly set at this point heading into Spring Training, what is one under-the-radar move you could see the Rangers making to further bolster the roster between now and Spring Training?
- Jurickson Profar is progressing in his throwing program, being eased along cautiously, making him likely to start the season at Triple-A Round Rock. At what point during the season -- if at all -- could you see Profar being called up, and what sort of expectations would you have for his performance?
- T.R. Sullivan has a piece up on the Texas Rangers Website in which he takes a look at various bounce-back candidates heading into the 2015 season. Which Texas player do you see as having the most potential for a major bounce-back season in 2015?
