Sunday Morning Rangers Strikes
/The Rangers Fan Fest was yesterday. Did anyone score any sweet autographs?
- Prince Fielder says he feels 100% after losing most of 2014 to a neck injury. He's also promoting a new anti-bullying campaign, presumably stemming from all of the jokes he endured after posing nude for ESPN The Magazine.
- In addition to Fielder, Yu Darvish says he's on schedule like any normal offseason. No word yet on whether or not anyone asked him about his "toughness".
- New manager Jeff Banister doesn't figure to be a big fan of "small ball" tactics, notably saying, "When you play for one run, you usually get one run. You increase your odds of winning by about 85 percent with one three-run inning."
- Finally, because apparently this was still a thing floating out there, Jon Daniels says that the chances of Josh Hamilton returning to Texas to play for the Rangers are "small".
